Superhero of the Week: Michael Winter

This week we congratulate Michael Winter, a senior at Martin Luther High School, as our Superhero of the Week. Winter takes many different AP and honors classes and is a member of the National Honors Society. He was also a delegate for Badger Boys State.

At Martin Luther, Winter participates in three sports. He has started and lettered for the past two years in soccer and basketball. He also lettered his freshman, sophomore, and junior years in baseball. He was named Team Defensive MVP his sophomore year and Team Pitching MVP his junior year.

Winter plans to attend either UW-Madison or Concordia University of Wisconsin to play basketball. He plans to major in engineering or business.

"I’d like to thank my Principal, Dr. Wayne Jensen for nominating me for this award," Winter said. "I would also like to thank all the staff of Martin Luther High School for helping me during my time at school. And finally, I would like to thank my parents and my three older siblings for their consistent support."
