Kyana Aguilera is a high-honors senior and a 3-Sport Varsity Student-Athlete at St. Francis High School. Kyana earned a 4.33 semester GPA, and is a leader in her high school community in many ways.
She is involved in several clubs and activities, the National Honors Society Student President, Mentor & Tutor, leads several school fundraisers, was co-captain of her Varsity Volleyball team, earned First-Team All-Conference in Basketball, and Defensive Player of the Team for Soccer.
She also recently won a local VFW Voice of Democracy essay contest.
She has earned over $50,000 in scholarship and merit awards. In addition to her hard work in athletics, academics, and community service, Kyana is a dedicated employee of The Packing House.
Her proudest accomplishment is making her grandparents proud, managing all of her roles, and leading her conference with 14 double-doubles so far in her senior year varsity basketball season. Since a young age, she has always enjoyed reading books and writing her own stories.
She has a creative mind, enjoys art, and is also a member of the Art Club.
She has participated in dance, acted in several plays and musicals, and competed in forensics for many years as well.
She has a kind heart, is a hard worker, loves helping others, has a strong passion for social justice, and is very determined.
Kyana has known for a long time that she wants to become a lawyer. She participated in Marquette’s Summer Youth Institute, completed their mentorship program, and served as an intern in downtown Milwaukee. Kyana is extremely grateful to have been accepted to all of the schools for which she applied.
Her after-high-school-plans include attending a four-year university, hopefully playing college basketball, then attending law school and becoming an attorney, maybe a judge, or even Supreme Court Justice one day.
