Automatic Power. No Scrambling. No Stress.

Unlike portable generators, a whole-home standby generator automatically turns on within seconds of an outage. Current Electric explains that these systems detect the outage, transfer power safely through a transfer switch, and can run on natural gas or propane without manual refueling. That means your home stays protected even when you are asleep, away, or dealing with severe weather.

Automatic Detection

The system senses an outage and responds automatically.

Safe Power Transfer

A transfer switch disconnects your home from the grid and connects generator power safely.

Reliable Fuel Source

Most systems run on natural gas or propane.

Essential Coverage

Power can support refrigeration, heating, cooling, communications, and medical equipment.

Safety. Comfort. Security.

Current Electric’s existing page organizes the generator value around three big homeowner benefits: safety, comfort, and security. That is a smart structure, and it should stay.

Safety

Reliable backup power helps keep critical systems running when your home needs them most, including sump pumps, lights, appliances, and medical devices.

Comfort

Keep your furnace, AC, and daily routine running through Wisconsin’s toughest weather. No rushing for flashlights. No wondering how long the outage will last.

Security

Protect your home from flooded basements, disabled security systems, and the risks that come with losing power.
